Just a quick question. As the subject states I got new ball joints for my 88. The upper ones, are the new ones suppose to fall right into the hole in the control arm. Because the one I have out so far almost does but not quite. I cannot find directions on this anywhere. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Pretty much, yes. There's a round hole in the control arm and the new ball joint fits in there with very little or no slack. It should fit close to exact.

Its the lowers that have to be pressed in and out.

They do not press in. They probably have about a mm or so space around them just like the OEM GM 88 upper ball joints.
