Is it possible to check the ignition control modules without removing it from the car. Just hoping there is a better way than taking it out, driving down to the parts store so it can be tested.
Crank the engine and watch the tach. If it rises to 200 during cranking and falls back to zero after then the ICM is good. If not it could be a bad ICM or it could be something else with your primary ignition components.
Thanks. Just feeling lazy as I am working late and may not have time to take the module out, get it tesetd and back in the car before its really late at night.
