Ditto and order or pickup a switch, they are the same for many year GM products over the same decade the Fieros were built so they should still be readily available still. one thing I will add is try with the car off rotating the switch several times or more, sometimes it is just a dirty switch due to lack of use and others the contacts are worn out, if its just dirty repeated turning of the switch may clean it enough for it to start working, if not just put a new one in.
one hint on how to replace it as simply as possible, tie a peace of thin wire to the plug at the bottom of the steering wheel shaft when removing the plug. that way when you put the new wire back in you can just pull it down to the original position when you reinstall the new one.
