Hi guys. Can anyone show me some pictures of their e-brake connection to the rear calipers? I've made a few of my own designs and they have failed.

The stock Fiero calipers have a fitting designed for the cylindrical attachment on the cable to a slot on the e-brake bracket. Has anyone's loop method on the C4 hook type bracket worked because mine has failed several times.

Thank you,

Matthew

I did this for a swap on my El Camino to LS1 Rear Brakes. Not sure if it even applies to what you are trying to do, but it might give you some ideas. It was made from a piece of 2x1 angle iron. The wide part of the slot is to allow the end of the cable to slide in. Once in, the cable cannot come out.

I used AL68's solution - Here is link

Solution using Corvette Cables

Installed these about a year ago, no problems.
