This only happens when applying the brakes or gas pedal while driving, I've checked everything can't figure it out, no loose grounds or wires that I can find. Its an aftermarket stereo that I bought 6 months ago so I doubt its bad

Did you install the radio? You may have tied into the wrong fuse.

Yeah I did, it was fine for 3 weeks and it just started doing this out of the blue. I checked all of my connections everything seems to check out, also when the radio stops working so does the overhead interior light

The stock radio went to #14, and the lights in the radio went to #11.....two power leads.
