I just finished re-installation of the cradle last week, only to discover that his engine was idling extremely high. I took it for a drive around the block (found I had a huge exhaust leak) and let it get to normal op temp. I pulled into the driveway and received a code 35, the car had a 23, I just forgot to plug in the MAT sensor. Checked for VAC leaks, EGR solenoid and Valve connected, EVAP connected, Cruise control connected, and I have power brakes... hmmm

Less than 50k miles, 2.8, 4spd 86gt

Some strange wire was broken off when I dropped the cradle, and oddly enough, somebody else posted something that indicated they had a snipped o2 ground wire, that seems like that what's missing on this car.

Does anyone else have any suggestions on what could be happening?

Fix the broken wire for starters.

Check EVERYWHERE and make sure no other wires are pinched or broken. Also make sure everything is plugged in, Reseat all of the connectors if you have to. Ensure the engine is grounded to the frame, not the cradle. After all of that, clear all codes and see if they come back.

Okay thanks, where does this o2 sensor ground connect? I just did my 3800sc swap, and I'm 99.99999% sure I didn't have that ground strap on my car.

The single wire O2 sensor grounds through the engine like a park plug. Make sure the engine has a good ground to the same structure the battery - is grounded to.
