I was replacing my brakes today, and when i got the caliper off the inside pad fell off. I pulled off the front pad to see that the clip was stuck in the piston. After hours of prying and pb blasting it's still stuck in there. Does anyone have any tricks to getting these out?

I was able to just pop it out easily.....but I had a hell of a time trying to get my piston compressed. After all the work I found out the brake pads wouldn't fit so I just gave up and put the old ones back on since they had more pad than I expected.

So the clip your talking about is the circular one that fits around the pistons dust boot? The dust boot is pretty fragile along with the clip (mine might of been bent if I recall). Do you have any pictures?
