Note - this is for the PROM only, not the MEM/CAL. You will have to cut the legs off of the stock chip and solder the socket in place. Easy if you have a fine point soldering iron and fine solder.
http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~...730-vs-165memcal.jpgI use my dremel and cut the legs right next to the body of the chip. I then insert the socket so the legs of the socket are on the outside of the PROM leg stumps. I then solder each carefully not to bridge the pins. It looks something like this -
