Recently, bought a 88 fiero gt automatic. Before this incident, it was driving fine. I experienced no problems. But after i gave it a wash and put regular gas to top it off before storing it this winter. While driving to the storage faculty, about half way there, the car's rpm levels start to raise and the car started to slightly stall, but i continued driving. I stopped at a store to ask for directions, after 8 mins i was back on the road. But this time it was fine. From what i can remember, i got no check engine light.

What can this possibly be? its winter so i cant check the car's fluids or anything, its in storage.

Could this be a vacuum leak?

would be the first thing I would look for... especially under the intake..
