I know there are quite a few differences between the two, but I was wondering if any of the series 2 parts could go on the series one to improve it?

They're basically two different engines. The series 2 engine is a complete re-design. Pretty much the only thing they have in common is the total displacement. And the series 2 engine is better in just about every way.

Thanks guys, that's what I figured. I had a chance to buy a series 1 Park Avenue for $800 and didn't know if it was worth it.
