Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows if one can swap a (cheaper) 4 cylinder fork into a '87 getrag tranny by changing bushings and/or enlarging the shaft holes, etc? Or could share the diameter of different fiero fork shafts.

I don't think the transmissions had different forks depending on the engine. Larry

All I know is mid 86 they changed from a welded together piece of junk to a one piece. It takes a different pin. I bought it as a kit when I replaced a clutch. Mine was a 4 speed, dont know if 5 speed used the same setup.

Hey Roger, do you have a gm part number for that one-peice clutch fork for the 4 speed M17 Muncie? my clutch fork just cracked, and it is the welded together crappy one.
