Are you sure the hamster wheel is connected properly to the motor? I'm going to be doing the same change to mine shortly, and for the same reason, but haven't gotten to it yet.

Is there any way you could have reversed the motor leads? Running backwards would not put out much air flow.

i dont think so...im not even sure how i would do that...i plugged everything back in the way it was before...

The black connector goes to just a ground connection right? there's a piece of metal thats bolted onto the motor with a 7 mill bolt that connects to the black connector, then the purple wire goes to the other connector near the air hose...that's correct right?

Does the blower speed increase as you crank it up each notch at a time?

Do you have proper control of where the air is blowing... heater, vent, defogger?

its also the fact that when i put my blower motor to full blast? It stops working like i just turned it off...or someone uplugged the motor...before the old motor was swapped out, i would turn the motor onto full blast...and it would cut out for a few seconds, then i would hear a click...then it would go full blast....this happened once or twice, other times before the old motor started squeeling, i could turn it up to full blast np.

Now with the new motor, full blast wont work at all, and the airflow is VERY weak.

I dont notice it increase very much if at all....and yes i do have control of where it goes, when i click defog or vent or heater, i can hear the mechanism moving to allow air to flow out of those different directions, when i put my hand near the vent or defogger, i can feel a SLIGHT breeze of warm air.

I suspect the motor is fine, and it's the blower speed control that's messed up.

Sounds like the blower motor resistor board is messed up. The board is just a series of springs, the thin ones offer little resistance and the larger ones more, so when the juice is passing through the thicker ones the motor turns slower. Funny thing is, when the board is pooched you usually only get high speed (In my experience anyway). Have a look at the board, it could be full of crap, or one or more of the springs could be broken.

The board is located just to the left of the blower motor itself. I'm just looking around to see if I can find one, but no luck so far

Edit to add image, and I noticed there's a 'high speed blower relay' that could also be the problem with high speed.

Okay my parts guy has a new one i can pick up tomorrow for the resistor. If it's not my relay or resistor...would it point to a faulty control unit?

I've noticed that when the electrical connector is unplugged from those resistors that the fan only operates on high speed, so I don't believe the resistors themselves are the problem here.

Perhaps it's the "'high speed blower relay", but I have to admit, this is something I'm not too familiar with.

Check see if you have a fuse gone. If I get a chance over the weekend I will go out and take a look and trace some wiring for you and see what voltage should be on what, but more than likely you will get answer here first.
I would try just hooking up 12 volts to the motor directly to see if it works at all.

Sorry I can't be of more help

Check the two relays as well. Mine went out and the low speed would not work at all and the high speed one would only work if I thumped the relay. I had thought my fan went out but it was only the relays.
