I am working on fitting my new harness to my engine and I am left with this connector (and no coolant temp sensor connector). I seems like it should be it but it's just not the same type of connector. It has three wire though like the coolant sensor. I just want to be sure before I cut it up and switch the connector. The harness was made by PBJ.

It is FOR the CTS, but not the CTS connector itself. There is a short 8"(?) harness part that plugs into that connector and adapts it to the CTS connector itself. I think that it had something to do with the SC engines having just one sensor, where the N/A engine had two? Or something to that effect. Either way, you are missing a little adapter.

Thanks! That makes sense, It should be ok to just splice in the correct connector then right?

Absolutely, just so long as it can comfortably reach the sensor, have at it!
