Wait a second, isn't OBD1 (1995 and earlier) code scanning only available through the display/AC/Heater control unit? It doesn't have the standard DLC like an OBD2 N*, right? That would mean it is like our original fiero computer...accessing the codes by shorting two pins and counting light flashes on the service engine light.
Yes 1995 some are OBD1, and then some were 1.5 My 1995 Howell harness and PCM is OBD1 I also have IPC on board diagnostic, which I have not gotten to function yet. Design One when in business offer to all their kit buyers IPC on board diagnostic, wish Kevin would offer help with OBD1 on board diagnostic. Any one offer help with this? How did Design do it?
Update on the 85 GT N*: Wester's Garage figured out the bug and now our 4T80E transmission shifts from 1st gear as it should.
So, problem finally solved.
Summary: This N* is using the stock Cadillac PCM 1996-1999 years running the 4T80E transmission. We have the EGR deleted, no rev limiter, no speed limiter, and no pass key.
