Is there a good spot to tap(up front) for power to the driving/fog lights or should I just run a long wire to the battery?

You should probalby run a wire from the battery using a relay to switch it on. You could power the relay from the tail lights if you want to switch them on when the lights are on. That way you only have power on the long wire run when you turn on the lights. Larry

Instead of trying to tie into the tail lights use the trunk light socket by the heater/ac fan to control your relay. Easy to get to and it turns on with the tail lights.
I use it to drive my LED driving lights since they don't use much power.

Unless you want to mount the relay back by the engine. Then the tail lights are as good as any.
Be sure and fuse the line from the battery for safety.
