im putting a 3800 sc and 4t60e tranny in my 86 gt. can I have a one inch lowering kit on it or will that weigh to much and rub?

How are you dropping it an inch? Cutting the springs, actual lowering springs or coil overs? Coil overs and lowering springs should be fine.

its gunna be new springs. I have some on it now that have been cut and it rights terrible. id rather put new springs on for a good right but I still want the lowered look.

If you are going to lay out the $$ for springs, why not just buy the $99 Coil over kit ?
