So on any left/right turn (even while braking) my gauge goes to 0 then back up.
I'm hoping its not the pickup tube, if it is though- how easy is it to fix?

I've never taken off my oil pan and don't want to tie up the shop for it, is it something I could do at home backed up on ramps?

Usually it's just low oil level,

but of course you have checked that already......

Good oil level, so the worst might be upon me.
Anyone else?

If your oil is thinned out due to having fuel in your oil, you might experience the same issue.
It's not a big deal to drop the oil pan with the motor in the car.

One of the reasons I love the 3X00 block is the oil pan. It has better baffling.

Does the light come on or just the gauge goes to zero? Probably should do some type of reality check before you pull it apart. Larry
