1986 2m4 5 speed
I was replacing the alternator the weekend past and was under my car. There is a sensor fairly big with 3 wire harness that plugs in it, its to the right of the oil filter and just above the base pan. Is that an oil sensor or something? Whatever it is the prongs on it are corroded real good.

I think you're referring to the oil pressure sender.

Is it this?

If so, then Blacktree is correct. This is off a V6, but they look similar.

I'm seeing a picture of a oil pressure sending unit. No attachment. Not sure what you are seeing. Maybe you have some type of filter blocking it or something like that.
