My car sat for a long time. The marker lites didn't work at first. I had to clean all the contacts in the sockets and on the bulbs with emery cloth and contact cleaner.
ill try cleaning the P.O.S. IF THAT FAILS LOOK FOT IT IN THE MALL CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Side marker lights aren't double filament. They are the same bulbs that go into the courtesy and instrument panel. Do the marker lights illuminate with the parking lights on? If so, then you can discount a bad connection at the bulb. If the front and rear turn signals work on that side, then you can discount the flasher being the problem. If they don't, it's possible that one side of the flasher has gone bad. The flasher is located to the left of the steering column support bracket, kept in place by a spring metal clip.

I would rather pound my balls flat with a sledge hammer than hunt down an electrical problem.
that said, start with a trouble light and check to make sure you have juice, no juice follow the wires back to their ground, there is a separate ground for the side marker light and the parking light, make sure they are both clean and tight. both are under the hood but not connected together. then try putting your point of the trouble light on each of the contacts and ground the alligator clip . that will tell you if it is a bad ground or no power.
from there trace your wires back to find out if you have a damaged wire.

Before you work on the car again, I highly suggest you calm down. It's never a good idea to work on a car mad and frustrated.
I'm having similar problems right now.... The ogre's cave is the place to be. Start with the ground connections in the headlight well. I think thats where my problem is anyways. I've got no park and an interior indicator illuminated all the time on that side......
