I was working on switching fuel pumps yesterday and noticed there was some surface rust on the newer fuel pump and the bottom end looked pretty nasty, it looks worse than my formulas old pump. The tank it was in had some rust inside, is this going to be an issue for me? I would obviously replace the pick-up filter.

You've got to wonder what the inside of it looks like.

Considering the royal PIA it is to change fuel pumps, I wouldn't use that pump.
