the weatherstrip on the A pillar is splitting apart--is the door weatherstrip the same as a non t-top car? We have a "donor" down at the pick and pull--I figure I can remove all or just the A pillar section if its in good shape

It's all one piece. You can cut and splice a non-ttop door seal if you want to give it a shot. I use the black super glue form the hobby stores. It is used to glue RC car tires onto the rims.
