My car has a bit of noise coming form the transmission while the car is idling, only when the clutch in NOT depressed. It is a 5 speed. It kind of sounds kind of like some marbles are quietly rolling around inside the tranny and as soon as you depress clutch it goes away, also it's only after the car has been driven for a bit, does not do when it's cold or has not been on the road for little while.

Any ideas on what it may be? Going to bring car to transmission shop over the weekend to have it checked, just want some opinions before doing so.

Just the gears ratteling around a little when they are not loaded up. Drive it and be happy. Larry

If you want to read more about it, just do a search for Getrag rattle.
