I run 6x9 Alpine in front and 4x6 Alpine plates in back. The front requires a bit of work to fit, but I dont need a sub.

Others use a sub on the passenger floor or a slimline sub behind the passenger seat.
There are several threads, the "SEARCH" function is your friend.

Hey what part of Missouri are you from? also Memphis makes some decent speakers in fiero sizes however most I have heard of prefer a component sub tweeter combo in the front. I have the factory sub in my car with Rodney's speaker replacement. It was a tight fit but it worked. My sound wasn't horrible, but I blew two speakers. Anyway the search function will help with looking for a lot of things.

Honestly, What is a "stock" Fiero?

I have Memphis Audio in two of my other cars, very clean and excellent imaging, but the 4x10 fronts lack bass. A sub is needed for good bottom end.

I'm running 5 1/4 with tweeters mounted in adapters I got off a PFF member (E.Furgal) in the mall. They were made from a template designed by fierosound and they work great. Only thing they need a bit of molding of the vent on the driver's side if the speakers you get have large magnets. Pretty sure there are tons of members running this setup.

Have you seen the new speaker pods that are now being sold by the Fiero store? They look pretty cool and will accommodate speakers in the back panel behind the seats.
