I need to replace some parts on my '88 Formula (V6) but I'd appreciate some advice on what to buy. It needs new mounts for engine and trans as well as a dogbone. I don't have a lot of money right now and need something relatively cheap. I am slowly fixing up my car but cash is the main setback right now.

Does anyone have thoughts on what mounts, etc. I should buy that won't break the bank but aren't complete crap? Links to products are appreciated.

Thanks!

Additional question added below, 08/09/13

So I feel really dumb in asking this but I've tried to find the answer elsewhere and have come up with nothing. I don't have access to the car right now so I can't just go out and look.

How many mounts of each type do I need?

I believe that I need the following but I could be totally off:
  • 1 front transmission mount
  • 1 rear transmission mount
  • 1 dog bone
  • 2 engine mounts

Again, sorry for the stupid question.

Usually your autoparts store will carry Anchor parts. They used to be pretty darn cheap.
you may want to start with Rock Auto... www.rockauto.com

BTW, look for motor mount, transmission mount and torque strut mount
