PZC should be from a 2.5 TBI with 2.84 Final ratio.

Make sure the the 8P2C is not a 8PSC. Either way should be a 2.84 final, I think.

what were the ratios for the 125's that were OE on fieros? I know the 3.33 ratio for the 88 V6's but not the others.

(I think I should pay a visit to the ogre's cave)

I checked the number again and need to re-state what it is. its J 131A 8PZC

I must be missing something here, the cave refers to the rpo code, I need to find a source to ID the 125c as an individual piece It didn't come from a fiero, if someone can help source a list or something; I and everyone else can compare trans ID's.

EDIT: okay I looked a little down further, and see a small table for the transmissions based on the model #'s
(large print 3-digit code) I don't see PZC there anywhere. I just found out I had a 3.33 ratio auto in my car...

well, I am actually hoping for this trans I have to be a wider geared trans anyways. (fuel economy, nature of the engine, etc)

8PZC is an 88 2.5 TBI with 2.84 final used in several GM cars. Should net a better MPG than the 3.33 final ratio offered. To bad I got rid of the 84 Buick with the 4.3 diesel. It had a 125c that had a 2.39 final ratio.

Good luck and have fun.

P.S.
I can compile the information and post to the list.
