I've searched on the site and so far haven't found what I'm looking for. anyone have a part number or size for the adapter that the ECM temp sensor fits into? I picked one up but it leaks, the one I got doesn't stick out like it should so it isn't sealing correctly.

You should be able to get one at a good plumbing supply store or maybe at NAPA or an AC Delco parts store. GM calls it a coolant temp sensor bushing. The GM part number is 10037037. Diameter and thread aren't given in ther parts manual.
