Are there any good looking replacements for the 3800 valve covers? I've done quite a few searches, and although I've come across a few pictures of some nice replacements, I haven't found many sources, other than aluminium ones on eBay (and they're going for almost $300). I would have thought there would be lots of options to dress up the 3800, but I'm coming up empty.

Honestly the best way is find a color combo you like and paint them. I painted mine and have reflective stickers on the center sections right now. I'll re-do them eventually as they have chipped in a few spots.

Yes get some extra sets of stockers and paint them.. It IS also possible to powder coat them, I've seen it done, they withstand heat fine.

I thought about powder coating them, but didn't think they could stand the 400 degree heat required to finish the process. Has anybody here done them?
