My tach was acting up so I had another tach filter so easy to change. No way. I removed the coil and its heat shield but I could not loosen the nut that holds the filter in place. No socket or wrench I owned would fit over the stud where the 15mm nut screwed on. The Dragon stopped over today and he had an offset 15mm from his VW days that worked so in 10 minuts he had the nut off.

A deep socket didn't work for you?

the deep socket set I had was not metric and a 1/2 inch drive. That size and the ratchet would butt up against the EGR tube and wouldn't fit.
