A few months ago, I began noticing a pull to the right of the steering at all speeds. I'd had a complete 4-wheel alignment done after an engine swap, and the car drove well until it started wanting to go right on me. I looked at the suspension several times, but never found anything unusual.
Today, I was jacking up the back end to check something unrelated when this bushing-like thing fell on the ground right next to the left rear wheel. I replaced the suspension with oly bushings when I did the engine swap, so I thought at first it might be a broken bushing because it has a kind of pinkish red color. But when I picked it up, it crumbled like old foam rubber.
Here is a picture:

The thing measures 30mm inside diameter and about 30mm thick counting parts broken off when I picked it up:

Any ideas of where this came from or why it affected the steering will be welcomed.
Thanks,
Egor
