Took the 2.8 with Eaton M90 from Thunderbird out today. I drove around for about 10 minutes and at one point smoke was coming out of from behind the pulley on the snout of the charger. So i pulled over and let it cool down and the smoke went away immediately. I started the car back up and drove back to my house without a problem. I pulled the belt off after and checked the charger by spinning the pulley and the tolerance was good and the bearings didnt make a noise or anything. No leaking oil, and oil level was good. When I took the oil cap of it did have some steam that came out with some pressure. Any ideas?

belt slip? there is quiet a bit of pressure you would not feel turning by hand that would be when the engine is running..
