I have a small crack below my trunk key lock. This occurred a long time ago when I wasn't careful and closed the trunk on the keys that were still in the lock. till now I've lived with covering the hairline crack with white nail polish but it still shows. Is there a better solution?

SMC panel adhesive/filler. "V" out the crack & fill it, sand smooth, prime, block, prime, & paint as you would any body repair.
