bump -

FIEROFLYER thoughtfully and meticulously separated the fragile wiring harness etc from the heavy items such as the mounts and brackets, and shipped them in 2 different boxes. the rest of the parts should be in by this week

If some knows the correct grade and size flywheel bolts please post, very important. Do you use the 3800 bolts,Cameron bolts, or Pontiac 5 spd bolts. Etc.....

N* TB adapter http://shop.zzperformance.c...r-Adaptor-Plate.aspx arrived today. they keep dinging me for shipping costs at the door! at least the TB adapter is a small package. ordered some ARP studbolts for the flywheel http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-234-1001/ and an a/c delete pulley http://shop.zzperformance.c...p/252-AC-Delete.aspx

still waiting for the 3.8 mustang header setup to ship out. pretty excited for that!

looks like I won't be doing the swap until the end of may/early june because of time restraints.. still balancing school and work. and I want to prep the engine a bit more before I dive in. also the Fiero has been my daily driver for the past 9 months.

thats all for now

You need to have parts shipped from ZZP USPS/Canada post. You will get dinged for the GST and big brokerage fees from UPS, and it can add up quick. Canada Post will charge a minimal brokerage if any and GST, stuff from Summit you can probably get from JBs power center for around the same price or cheaper, and they are in Calgary.

thanks for the tip. if I need anything else I will phone JB powercenter first. I got my speakers from there, they aren't bad guys. they even screwed up and gave me better speakers than what I paid for lol.. summit shipped the parts using fedex (it was the cheapest option).

I will be following this as well! I was intending on starting this six months ago lol. I just never got around to it. Reading through your post has put me in the motor swapping mood now though.

so I am trying to figure out the best way to run the coolant system....... my car is an 86 and I need to retain the heater core. stock alt location aswell (for now)

so from what I have read, my best option is to use a modified fiero coolant neck with no return lines, run a coolant line off the water pump for the radiator, and use the two outlets on the LIM beside eachother to run heater core lines. is this correct?

So you don't have to cut the trunk for this setup? I heard that the mustang headers had a bit of a restrictive gap?

could be true, but they are much better flowing than the OEM front manifolds which have much less flow. + these clear the 4 speed shifter cables

I'm going to buy a relocating kit that puts the alternator a bit lower from mulletproofmonk so I don't have to notch the trunk and low pro trunk hinges to keep the coil pack in the stock location. Makes it look cleaner

Well that makes things nice! I forgot you had a series 3 right? I'd have to go check.
Yep lucky you! I never have the luck of coming across a series 3 for that cheap

Yeah I hear those m90s flow better. I may be going to grab a motor, flywheel, FieroX motor mounts, and a programmed PCM in two weeks. Hopefully all works out.
