Unfortunately that article does not say that Walz is going to be indicted. It does not even mention him directly. I do agree that the US needs to significantly reduce importing people from incompatible cultures.
It is going to be entertaining in a few months as people who filed fraudulent documents to immigrate or gain US citizenship have their citizenship stripped and get sent back to their home country. Leftists are going to lose their minds.
This is the culprit, Tim Walz, soon to be indicted for fraud, treason and anything else he's guilty of. The Trump administration's DOJ has an easy mark, a perfect example of Dempartie Russian Collusion, yeah, it's complicated. Walz has not been indicted. He is a "target" of a criminal investigation, which could likely lead to him being indicted. The difference is that in a criminal investigation, the prosecution and investigators are looking for evidence of a crime, essentially, they are building their case because they have probable cause for an indictment.
Keep in mind that there is also a difference between an indictment and being charged. If Walz is charged with a crime, it means the evidence is so overwhelming, or it does not meet the level required for an indictment. An indictment is when you have a jury of 18-23 people from the public (jury pool), who look at the evidence, and make a formal decision on behalf of the prosecution to go forward with formal charges. Seeking an indictment is almost always done in high profile cases because it's meant to assuage the public that the prosecution of the individual was not done with bias, but on consensus of a jury.
That has not yet occurred, the DOJ has only formally opened a criminal investigation in which they are officially making known to Tim Walz that he is a target. This is done formally (written notice) because it respects the process for Walz to obtain counsel, prepare his defense, and obtain any information that might be exculpatory if he goes to trial. Take note, this is not required, it's a professional courtesy, which is done as part of the grand jury process. In the past (for example), Biden's DOJ has not gone through the indictment process and instead opened a criminal probe, unannounced. The "suspects" only find out they're under investigation because FBI officers show up at a random place (restaurant, at work, etc.) and confiscate their phones as evidence ... this is corrupt in my opinion, and bastardizes our judicial process for high profile cases. Love it or hate it, the path that Pam Bondi's DOJ is going through, is the longest, most formal, and amenable process you could possibly have for a potential suspect.
