Quite possibly. But as the PIC of the aircraft flying The Queen. I'm sure the investigating LEOs were careful about how they went about it.
But, based on the article, I consider his sentence to be slightly more than a slap on the wrist. Does Canada not have the Death Penalty? This jerk doesn't deserve the air he's breathing.

Well, it is, what it is. Personally, I'm all for public hangings for convicted felons like this. Sends a strong message to those who are considering such things.
