While it's only a few miles from my home location, I'm all for it. Don't really care what Leftist have to say, they still don't seem to understand that we've been invaded. Yeah, Biden's responsible but, now this needs be corrected.

Democrat POLITICIANS view the mass invasion of non-citizens as a means to power.
Democrat POLITICIANS convince the Democrat VOTERS that it's all about kindness and that they somehow deserve it.


It's delusion... because Democrat voters swore up and down that the Democrat party wasn't for open borders. I had these discussions with many people, and they said it was a crazy idea that they were for it. As soon as Biden got in, he swung those gates wide open... even welding some of them open so national guard couldn't shut them. At this point, Democrats said it wasn't as bad as it seemed, and that the media was making it into something it really wasn't. They said these caravans were fake news. Then when it was revealed that it really was like that, they somehow said it was the fault of Republicans (make that make sense). Then... as time went on, the voters (through encouragement of the politicians), ignored the fact entirely that they had been lied to, and allowed themselves to be convinced that somehow this was now a humanitarian concern... and that what Trump is doing is racist.

I'd guess most of these people suffer from cognitive dissonance, but as they were personally and directly affected by this... they eventually voted for Trump (or just declined to vote at all).

99.9% agreement here. While I'm not concerned about the prison being reopened, my wife is a bit nervous about it. This facility is not an old facility and was closed due to budgeting issues, not due to security concerns. It was not a government owned facility but a privately owned entity. It is an up to date complex not needing any major repairs or work. It's just a failed business that didn't make it because state and federal funding didn't come through as promised (I'm told).

It was reported that the facility did employ 250 local folks and that the Mason and surrounding community really suffered when the complex was closed. People are already applying for the jobs that will open up when ICE takes over.

I've never understood how anyone could not see undocumented border crossers as anything but illegal aliens. But those in power wanted them as potentail voters and for census/population counts. Redistricting is now going to be the cause many states take up. This particular issue now is all due to what Biden and Democrat leadership did and didn't do.
