So, I have some questions...
What REALLY did Trump lie about? I watched MSNBC afterwards (and again this morning) to see their thoughts. They all repeatedly said "lies lies lies" but never actually said what the lies were. So we can all understand this to mean that this talking point is nothing more than political narrative.
The other question I have is... the Democrats talk about "democracy" and the threat of democracy all the time, and yet here they're now talking about replacing Joe Biden, who was voted on in the primary. Is that very democratic to "install" a new person for the general election (which is likely what will happen)?
... what we also now know... all of the lies the Democrats have been saying thus far, that Biden is totally sound, were all just that... lies.

It's still open to Google Analytics, and ... never mind... they somehow managed to clear that out too. Last night I could search Google for Democratic Underground posts, and I could still see the previews... all of that has been "fixed" I suppose.
There were dozens of things that even CNN is calling out Joe Biden for lying about. There doesn't seem to be much that Trump actually "lied" about, though he made some aspersions as fact, when it's mostly subjective. But everything else Trump said was right on the money.

It was meant to be a night to assuage Hollywood’s donor class’ concerns about President Joe Biden’s fitness. But it quickly turned into a nightmare for some of the industry’s biggest Democratic backers.
Joe Biden’s top campaign staffers tried to quickly and forcefully project calm in a private, previously scheduled meeting with donors and bundlers Friday following a disastrous performance in his first debate against Donald Trump.
They argued it wasn’t a “campaign killer.” Staffers touted grassroots fundraising numbers. Biden’s campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon told them that there was no easy way to get Biden out of the race — or name a new nominee.

Long story short, the Heritage foundation is preparing lawsuits in most of the swing states to prevent the DNC from being able to replace him. They’ve definitively identified three swing states (Wisconsin, Nevada, Georgia) where the local laws do not allow a candidate (who’s won the primary) from being removed from the ballot.
“Wisconsin does not allow withdrawal from the ballot for any reason besides death, while in Nevada, no changes can be made to the ballot after 5 p.m. on the fourth Friday in June of an election year unless ‘a nominee dies or is adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent.’ In Georgia, if Biden were to withdraw less than 60 days before the election, his name would remain on the ballot but no votes would be counted.”
So, Wisconsin and Nevada are a done deal, but the Georgia law takes effect in about 2 months. In all cases, the only way at this point for them to overturn this, would be for Congress to declare by majority vote that Joe Biden is incompetent (using the 25th Amendment)… which they most certainly will not do, for political reasons…

Good. Democrats have denied Biden's mental and physical decline for years now. They should be forced to sleep in the bed they made for themselves.
It is a great idea, but I am betting it will not work. The replacement candidate will remain on the ballot while the challenges are disputed. There will be no resolution until after the election.
I suspect that the Dems have already chosen someone that no one expects, someone no one knows anything about. When that person is announced, there will not be enough time to vet him/her/they/it. It will be someone without a past.
