None of these are touching the current minimum wage of 7.25 that would seemingly devistate the US economy if it went up the way some of yall are talking.

Just curious how you're arriving at that figure... keeping in mind that the US/Cdn dollar exchange rate in 1971 would no doubt be quite different than it is today. For example, in 1974 the Canadian dollar was worth $1.04(US)... whereas currently, the Canuck Buck is worth $0.73(US). Makes buying anything from the States a little painful now!
