Extremely left-leaning leftists. Most of the people that are "leftists"— as closely as I can decode what "leftist" means when used by MidEngineManiac and some others on this forum—are not like this:

1) There are the well-meaning, but ill-informed “rank and file”.
2) There are the angry, disenfranchised malcontents who “just want to watch the world burn”.
3) Finally, there are the authoritarian leaders, who are not really Leftists. They just take advantage of the other two groups.
There are also some in each group who just like to argue, and refuse to acknowledge truth. They will never learn because they see enlightenment as personal failure. Learning requires that they replace false beliefs with facts, and they cannot admit that they don’t already know everything. It is a self perpetuating, downward spiral of delusion.
