The left and their propaganda media mouthpieces are spewing anger at immigrants arriving in their secluded and privileged enclave of Martha's Vineyard.

A total of around 50 immigrant family members were told that there is no room for "your kind" here and are telling others that 'those' people don't belong here. Instead they are told they belong in border detention facilities, not their towns and cities.

I thought the left and their media lapdogs were in love with sanctuary cities? Well, start sanctuaring now. If you talk the talk, then walk the walk. Provide homes, jobs, services for these immigrants and their families. I'm sure someone will open their homes, right?...... Right?

The only problem is that the media cameras are there.

Once the media leaves, yeah, they will welcome them into indentured servitude of landscaping and housecleaning their homes.

Right now, they have to tow the Democrat Party message as instructed. That message is to say that Republicans are evil.

So if Florida keeps them in detention facilities, it's evil. Return them back to their home country, it's evil. Send them to a blue state and city, it's evil.

Massachusetts State Representative Dylan Fernandes (D) describes how residents and business owners on Martha's Vineyard have reacted to the newly arrived migrants by organizing their resources to help them. These are the migrants that were sent to Martha's Vineyard from Florida by Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis.

Is the NIMBY just a figment of someone's imagination? This is what a local newspaper has to say:

quote
State and Island officials, faith-based groups, nonprofit agencies and volunteers rallied quickly to accommodate 50 mostly Venezuelan migrants who arrived unexpectedly at Martha’s Vineyard Airport Wednesday, part of a coordinated political campaign to divert migrants from border states.

quote
A migrant who asked not to be identified said through an interpreter that a woman in Texas who called herself Perla approached him and his family, saying she was from an immigration organization that could connect them with sanctuary cities in Massachusetts. He said he has an immigration court date on Sept. 21 in Los Angeles.

“I think this is all a ploy to get us to miss our court dates so we get in trouble with the law and they can deport us,” he said.

"Vineyard Community Rallies Relief Efforts to Assist Stranded Migrants"
Brooke Kushwaha for the Vineyard Gazette; September 15, 2022.
https://vineyardgazette.com...st-stranded-migrants

quote
Many of migrants boarded the buses carrying new backpacks, bedding, clothing, and even stuffed animals and soccer balls provided by members of the Island community. Courtesy of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, the migrants received a donation of 30 cell phones Friday morning.

At the departure, many expressed gratitude for their Vineyard welcome, some wearing Go Vineyarders, Harpoon the Whalers shirts given them by the regional high school.

“The people here are very good people,” said Élio, one of the migrants, in Spanish. “It was a nice surprise. You don’t normally see that, as an immigrant. But everyone was so helpful and kind. I don’t know what’s going to happen but everything here was good. It was all good.”

"Buses Roll Out as Migrants Head to Ferry and on to Joint Base Cape Cod"

Martha’s Vineyard declared a humanitarian crisis, mobilized 120 National Guard troops, charted 3 buses to deport all 48 immigrants and stole $40,000 all in under 24 hours.

I’m impressed. Gotta give them Nazi style efficiency points for that one. Makes you wonder how fast they can setup Maga interment camps and round up all the deplorable enemies of democracy.

Stole $40,000 ..?

Where does a "rando" like me go online to find this kind of "insider" information? I looked through some reports from national and big city "media lapdogs" and even the local Martha's Vineyard Vineyard Gazette but I didn't see anything about $40,000.

As usual, you're an AI tool that ignores the issue. They're now kicking them outta MV. Quick reaction plan for invaders of the peace and tranquil elitists. Nothing like having a "Harpoon the Whaler's" shirt (ignorant meme anyone?) on your back while ignoring what Whaler's did and the LIGHT/WARMTH/FOOD they helped provide during the early days of this once great country. Progressives and leftists, always pissing on past progress and laborious work they never had to do themselves. The individual who wrote 'The little red hen' probably were thinking of the loafer farm animals who wouldn't help plant/grow/bake the wheat as progressives.

Just as a reminder, you're trying to talk facts and sense to the same Leftist that claimed that he couldn't find any data on conservative professors being ousted from their jobs.

You cannot make someone find something that he does not want to see.

That's why you can refer to Leftists as "drill bits", (because a drill bit is a small, boring, tool that doesn't work unless someone else twists it...)

That took me all of 90 seconds. And only because I wasted time lighting a smoke and having a swig of coffee while I did it.

I guess those who fear google will never know

there are other search engines one could use

the post points are from national news reports
but I guess you also fear the MSM also ?
and'' they '' say the fact checking sites are all lib's so one can't go there

maybe go rogue and risk charges of RINO-ness by trying many sites
and actually making a judgement not party or person based on FACTS

Ah, I see, you won't address your accusation of lying to the illegal aliens and promises made to them.
I understand how when one can't backup their crap, they attempt to distract and ignore so as to not have to back up their statements.

It's interesting how those illegal aliens are telling a different story. You know, one of agreeing to fly to Mass and signing that agreement. No guns were held to their heads either. All you really needed to do was back up your accusation with some evidence. Such lies are why so little of what you post is accepted. Well, that and the attitude presented along with the very poor grammar and punctation or postings that appear a five-year-old got hold of a computer.

I've been hearing reports that the Department of Homeland Security or DHS wants to have a version of what the Texas and Florida governors have been doing, but that "Brandon" has not agreed to it.

What I think that DHS wants is for there to be refugee centers created in various other states, like New York, Illinois, Massachusetts... any state that has a governor and a state legislature that would be amenable to the idea. So the asylum seekers can be spread out more across the entire country, and not have them piling up (so to speak) in such disproportionate numbers in the southern border states.

Sounds like a good plan to me. If I were advising the President, I would say "Go for it." Dress it up with some "bells and whistles" and play it like "We're not just giving in to the Texas and Florida governors, but this has some ideas baked into it that are our own. A fresh approach."

What do we have now? Asylum seekers being bussed or flown to various places like near the Vice President's home in DC, or New York City, or Martha's Vineyard, and a lot of self-congratulatory but mostly fictional memes and messages online (like this very forum thread) about how traumatizing this is for the residents of DC, New York City, Martha's Vineyard (etc.)

The "rump rabble" have such feverish imaginations.
