Jesus, at least he can type a coherent sentence. You come off as if the cheese has slid off your cracker. Make an attempt at communication and not spouting BS and name calling. If you have a point (which I doubt) at least try to get it across. So far all I've seen is there is not a single Democrat you won't perform contortions to defend with your insane whataboutism
what did I do risked my life in the local streets and roads exways and turnpikes likely in far more real daily danger then a navy lawdog in iraq [in miami crazy traffic]

You bring up an interesting point.

That's a lot of work and responsibility, especially a tremendous amount of paperwork and record keeping.
How exactly does someone that cannot construct a complete sentence or express a coherent thought, cannot spell correctly or use punctuation and proper grammar do that?

Guys, I'm far from being the Millennial ninny that says, can't we all just get along. But we are all at least Gen-Xers, and we all grew up being friends with everyone. Can we not simply debate the topics? There's no point in resulting in name calling. It doesn't actually hurt anyone's feelings, but it diverges from the actual discussion and lets people off the hook for being accountable for what they believe in.
I am hardly a role model. I've taught my daughter that farting is hilarious, I've paid for storage for a Fiero that after 10 years, I could have basically bought a low mileage brand new one with the plastic still on the seats and steering wheel. So don't take it from me... but I think I've managed to keep my insults to a minimum, and allow myself to focus on discussion. We don't solve world problems here on Pennock's Fiero Forum, but it's good practice at least that we all learn to deal with our opinions in a manner that allows us to actually communicate, rather than trying to shut the other person up. I know from having done this for years, that it definitely doesn't change the other's opinions, but simply convinces them to double-down.
Whopping 25 of 30 conservative school board candidates endorsed by @GovRonDeSantis win seats across Florida, only five defeated. Will make easier than ever to reimagine classroom politics in public schools.
Are you getting the picture yet ray b? We are tired of the BS. Florida now, tomorrow the country.

I went in with a list. A recommendation by Trump or DeSantis was an instant pick for me.
For others, like CCD4 (City Commissioner District 4), it became more difficult. It was against a guy that spent his entire life at US SOCOM and said he would stop Communism, and a guy who said he wanted to widen roads (as we'd already paid for), and make the county more accountable for taxes.
While the anti-Communism was definitely a huge positive... I'm not sure how much Communism is going on specifically in my district, and I definitely need wider roads.
But yeah, it was fun... it was great seeing how the candidates each tried to out-do eachother to be more conservative. If they didn't have a recommendation by DeSantis or Trump, I put great effort into looking up their backgrounds to see if they were Republican newcomers, or if they had a history of doing service. Best primary race I've ever voted in.

And teaching isn't a real job to him either. Strange.

I don't think you need to worry about that. My daughter goes to school in a predominantly conservative school district. The overwhelming vast majority of kids in her school are identifying as something other than heterosexual. Most of her friends are something like "Pansexual" or bisexual. There's a new one that sits right between Pansexual and Bisexual, but I forget the name. All basically mean the same thing... but maybe you like Pokemon or something and that gives it a differentiation.
My daughter has one friend who is a girl that identifies as a boy, who is dating a boy that identifies as a girl.
There are pride flags all over the school. Literally, the minorities here are the people who are just heterosexual... and again, this is a conservative school in a district within Hillsborough County that's made up mostly of semi-wealthy Republican families. It gets worse the closer you get to the city.
Kids want to be different, they want to stand out, and they want to feel like they belong. They've long since learned that if you can identify as being part of a "victim" group, that gives you special privileges and consideration from teachers that other / normal students wouldn't have. They're not dumb... fewer than 10% of these kids are at all gay, they're doing it for attention, and because it's been encouraged by the school district.
when I was in a 1956 school we were forced to pair up boy/girl every time same girl too why I do not know but walking to lunch eating ect was a paired activity odd to remember how much was paired in a couple as was everyone segregated southern public school only did that my warm months yankee schools never did that and were totally integrated
when I moved in 1957 the new school did not do that but old girl friend was mad she was an abandon woman at age 7 and now had to eat her lunch by herself so hung up and would never talk to me again so the girls were all in on this boy's more do we got to ?
I was born on Florida in 1954. I did not attend an integrated school until 1967. I saw "institutionalized racism" in the south as a child.
It might help to understand that Florida had Democrat governors from 1921 until (you guessed it) 1967. Just a coincidence, I suppose.
kirk was voted in because the racists all voted for him first Gop winner in a 100 years court orders not the jerk kirk he fought for the racists courts won kirk lost

So, while the noble leftists were in power, Florida was segregated; then, when the racists voted in one of their own, segregation ended.
I know you cannot understand the the absolute absurdity of some of the things you believe, but that one takes the cake.
I know that the laws and public sentiment were changing in the '50s and '60s, but believe it or not: Government doesn't always obey the law or do the right thing. Imagine that.
Years of meaningless and unintelligible rantings of a marxist acolyte, dutifully parroting offshore idealogues, like, he was paid to do it. Another one telling stories and fables of the greener grass in the far off communes, seen in the mysterious Mountains of Mist, the Democratic Republic of Utopia in the Union of Socialist States. Consider a test to determine if he truly believes the bs spewed, ' Yep, last I saw of him, he had set a course for Havana, a true believer, sailing off below the horizon. ' ' Yep, last I saw of him, in the JAX departures lounge, one way to Managua, to begin a new chapter in his life. ' ' Yep, last I saw of him, he made off with the loot in suitcases, to live as a guest of a friendly and sympathetic group of guerrillas in Nuevo Laredo. ' So, yeah, no... not credible, a wannabee master of marxism, dismissive of reality, living in a fantastical realm of make believe. Repeating what he has been told to repeat, a function of reward for compliance, a pavlovian bargain. ' Yes, master. '

Yeah, I understand there's a lot of that going around. May I ask what you think gives you the right to question his or anyone else's military service. You seem to think you know all about what a Seal Team is. Just curious........ You're obviously old enough to have served Viet Nam era, what was your role?

Interesting, I was advised of other information about your lack of service to this country. Admittedly, I don't know the truth. But, I have heard Canada is cold in the winter. Not necessarily connected to you but, it could be. Not sure.
Me, my draft number was 38 the last year of the draft. Knowing what was likely to happen, I volunteered and went into the Marines. Following that, I put myself through college (working full time) and utilized the GI Bill. Followed that up by joining the US Army as a Field Artillery Officer, then went to Flight School, flew several different helicopters, served several places in the world. Then went to the Maintenance Test Pilot Course and was a Test Pilot for the remainder of my service, all the time serving and protecting our constitution and those who wouldn't serve when called upon. Not everyone can be a good soldier or Marine especially, a coward.
Randye also served, happen to know that for a fact. But, that's his story to tell should he decide to.
Regardless, your qualifications to judge anyone who has served is less than competent and in fact lacking. Go ahead and judge those who can't write a complete sentence, can't spell or punctuate. You're highly qualified to get involved with that bunch. Reference you managing 80 people, that's going to require some proof for me to even slightly believe it.
Feel free to respond however you wish, I rarely read your posts anyway, the unintelligible gibberish you post is a waste of time.
Edited: BTW, this should not be considered a Personal Attack but, it is an honest evaluation. If you don't want an honest response, don't ask the question.

Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but … after a shooting, the problem is the gun.........
