Thinking, rational people didn't pay any attention to "Jade helm", understood the words 45 spoke at his rally in DC, were appalled by the actions of the few people that were unruly in the Capitol and have known for years just what Putin has done and is capable of doing.
If you fell for any of that hogwash, that's on you an your bias - you can't pin any of that on a thinking, rational citizen.
Perhaps you should analyze your sources of 'news' and search out the truth in current events, as the pablum that any news organization feeds you in a half hour evening segment isn't the reality of what's truly occurring. Have you ever thought to notice that all of the news broadcast, no matter the network, cover exactly the same things?

A guy who looks (and smells) a lot like me was there a decade before (and through) that period. Murdick coveted the Journal, and considered it to be his "crown jewel". When he came in, he gave a speech about the paper's "new direction", and people (literally) sobbed and wept openly. Soon after, he and a few folks he brought in started killing stories and telling folks things like "no stories which negatively depict China- they are "our friends". Many staff fled the scene - went over to Reuters, Bloomberg, etc. That familiar (and EXTREMELY handsome) IT fellow followed soon after.
They *MIGHT* be "better" now, but those were some dark days for the WSJ...
Because I sometimes post things I haven't read...or watched.
It's good to make recommendations based on the first line of the story.
"Ralf Fücks" was more than I could resist. Or more than I wanted to resist, to be honest about it.
It was mostly a joke, on my part. An online psychological experiment. How would people react? Would they focus on this German politician's name and magnify that as a joke, or would they focus on the video itself? Not watch any of the video, perhaps, but open up the YouTube page and look at the text that accompanies the video. And (or) the YouTube viewers' comments.
Mostly a joke, But not 100 percent. I could see that it was on topic, in providing an alternative or a counterpoint to the Wall Street Journal article.
I saw "Ralf Fücks" in an online news article that I was looking at on my iPhone. So I actually read a few sentences about him, before I posted that YouTube video here, which was some time later.
If I ever want to get more of Ralf Fücks, I will remember this thread and the YouTube video that's here "for future reference."
