I've been looking for something to replace my incredibly reliable/useful/drivable, but also SUPER boring Honda HRV daily driver. Given our proximity to some very tempting trails, I started looking for something small, capable, and quirky. This one was a tow-behind for an older couple who kept absolutely fantastic care of it, and it is clean inside and out.
She ain't fast, but so far I absolutely love it. There are almost no electronic driver assists: no cameras, lane sensors, keyless entry...none of it. Driving it feels very much like DRIVING.
Planning a trip up to the Mt Potosi observatory this weekend -there's some great trails up there- so hopefully I have some action shots by Monday!

Something like that looks like it could be a great deal of fun. And something for offroad doesn't need to be fast - with a few exceptions like Baja. I've wondered about the wisdom of putting 392s in Wranglers. Jeeps are good at breaking stuff. But a 392 can break stuff with conviction.
I need to take pictures next time we go out.... Las Vegas is so much better for off-roading than I realized...within 15 minutes of my house there are a dozen fantastic spots for trails. I've taken it out 2-3x a week since we got it and am impressed by it every single time. The amount of capability smashed into this car is incredible.
I added an amp and some speakers, but kept the stock dash. It was a pain because I couldn't find an accurate wiring diagram anywhere and had to trace the wires for the harness myself, but worth it for the cassette deck!
I grew up "pirating" music off of the radio and my friends on cassette tapes and they have a very real nostalgic value to me. I'm developing quite the collection!
