Figured I'd share some info about changing brake pads recently on my 2019 Silverado.

Besides the caliper bracket bolts being a pain due to the threadlock the vehicles computer apparently sensed I changed the pads and put it into limp mode.

Not sure if GM is still releasing FSM's and we'll yeah search whatever search engine/YouTube suits you and get mixed results.

The brakes would apply but not full pressure. Anyway I drove it around a few miles, shut it off after seeing if my local shop had a scan tool to no avail. When I started it back up the vehicle was out of limp mode and brakes are back to normal.
