I'm thinking about getting a Porsche 914 for a project car.And I was wondering if there are any companies that make body kits for them.

You'll need a body kit since most of the 914s were rust buckets. Neat looking cars, though.

I love the 914s I have owned 2, and have been thinking of getting one again, make sure to check out the "hell hole" below the battery in the lower rockers. that is a bad spot know to rust pretty bad and pretty costly to fix.
There use to be a kit called rayco 986 it was a sweet kit, but not sure if they are still around or not, there is a couple kits still available i believe, I want to do a subaru wrx sti engine swap in a 914. I believe it would make for one hell of a ride..

I finally found a body kit that I wouldn't mind getting for the 914.

Looks like it's still a prototype. Too bad as it looks great. I wouldn't mind a good condition 914 but I'd have to get a 2nd (and 3rd) job, first.

I knew a lot of people that had 914s and they rusted in two behind the seats (ya, completely broken in 2). Cowl, and headlite buckets were always bad too. You couldnt give me one, even thought they do look kind of neat. If you drive one thats in one piece, they are fun.
