I just refer to mine as the '84, the '86 & the '88. Don't rush the process; depending on the validity of your "trusted steed" assessment you'll undoubtedly think of many names likely in the format of "______ car".
Family members refer to the orange(ish) Equinox as "pumpkin" but it's more burnt orange? than orange...

I've named a few - but not all - of my cars. My Fiero is "Cookie Monster", due to the color. (It was painted that color to match the speaker grills. IYKYK. ) My Ram crew cab is "the white whale". And then there's "BaaBaah" (the black Jeep).

Welcome to the forum. I'm located about an hour from you. Yes, most members have come up with names for their rides.
Here's some ideas, Casper, Stormtrooper, Stay-Puff, Snowball, Betty White, Marshmallow, Great White (not sure if any of these are taken yet)
My name was actually chosen by an existing member years ago.
One of the ladies (huge Star Wars fan) near me has a "rescued from the grave" Indy that has been painted with black highlights (wing, ground effects, wheels), I believe named "Stormtrooper". But she's far enough from y'all that it shouldn't matter.
A side note: She's never hit anything with it.

I was looking up Italian names as somehow Italian feels appropriate. Marcella might be my choice, its a call to the roman god of war mars. but im not 100% sold yet

hey neighbor! some interesting names, but i dunno she feels sleek and needs a name fitting. I have not seen alot of fieros around swfl, i saw a red one around Ft Myers a couple time, used to be a guy in lehigh that had a few in his driveway but then he moved or something.

Speaking of orange... We have an old, beat up Husqvarna tractor mower that we call "Bash". It's used to mow the "more rural" parts of our lot, that we haven't totally reclaimed from pasture land, yet. Lots of rocks and sticks like to hide... It doesn't make too much noise.

Lol! Yeah, some areas of my property are a little brutal - custom mower deck reinforcement has been invented... Recently replaced the steering quadrant - found the original supplier via Amazon - shows the same factory stamped emblem from Kentucky. Need to ease up on the hard left turns to save the quadrant teeth...
I've never had a car with a name, or a gender either.... Wouldn't it be ironic if there was a previous owner that had given it a name that I've been unaware of all these years.

we do tend to name our vehicles.....then again we are also weirdos for sticking with fieros for so long my 88 is named the tangerine menace but was named killer queen for awhile since it kept hitting chickens and birds whenever someone else drove it. my red supercab 91 f250 is named big bertha since its always working and moving large things, my s10 hasnt gotten a name yet but has alot of soul based on how mean it is to me but hey its saved my life a few times, and the 87 gt is named prairie queen jean now since it seems to attract field mice constantly
