I've had this idea popping around in my head for some time. I posted these on the "Fiero Forum" group on FB and got a lot of positive feedback.
When I went to post again that they were available for download/purchase, they denied the post.

Figured I'd come show them off over here since it's been several years since I was last here on the forum.

It's been a long time since my 86 GT has seen the street. COVID knocked me down in 2020, and I have not gotten back up. Long hauling sucks. Because of this, my 86GT has been parked since mid-October 2020, and I will likely never drive it again due to long term health issues.

With that said, it has also been a very long time since I have been excited about making/doing something. I tinker a lot in my wood/machine/3D printer shop, but have so many unfinished projects that I can honestly say my hobby is collecting unfinished projects. Being able to actually finish the majority of this design process is something that has brought me joy.

Check these out.

And some DeLorean action for some friends.

A Subaru rally car design:

I have ~40 other designs in the mix, including 80's/90's TA, IROC, some Chrysler, Subie Rally, some BBS, and yes, even the original 13" Turbofins (soooooon).
Ideally, I'd sell the digital files for a song and the extra funds will help me get my GT back on the road and I can find some lucky kid who wants it. Maybe they'll help me with my 3D printing (or my Monster Energy) addiction. Who knows?
Either way, I figured I'd pop over here and show them off.

Sorry to hear the long-term health issues and getting some enjoyment on your hobbies.

Life sucks when you get a 'bad hand' - for me was in 2013 with a bizarre stroke...

Your drink coasters are awesome!

I found it is best to look on the brighter side of life...

So so so so sorry to hear about how the past few years have been for you - I think you would be one of the folks who would gladly return to 2015/2016...
Those coaster sets are so awesome!

Glad to see you again.

I released them for free on Printables with a personal non-commercial use license. If you have a 3D printer or know someone who does, you can just print out what you need (four wheels, a spare, and the holder). Donation link is available at the link and they're gladly accepted to feed the 3D printing/CNC milling addiction.

If you don't have a printer, I have been printing and selling in small batches for a couple of small groups here in Minnesota. They're getting about 30 bucks a set plus shipping when I have had to box them up and send them on their way. Frankly, I'm surprised at how well they're doing.

This video is always at the forefront of my brain when I walk into the shop and never find any free counter space. Heh.

Yeah, I divide my life between pre and post-COVID now. Pre-COVID, I was just starting to get into competition strongman when everything shut down. Then I got sick, and now the only power lifting I do is my fat ass out of my chair every day. There's no path back to my physical condition pre-COVID since the virus did some damage to the nerve pathways in my heart. Adding the extra weight since then isn't doing me any favors in that department, or in the driving my Fiero department either.

It is what it is. Glad to see you're still around and kicking.

Hey Synthesis!
You can put me down on a black diamond spoke set for $30 plus shipping if you want - they're "awesome"!

I'm glad to see you're still around and kicking too; though I had many 'dark' years until I saw the light.....

Just curious, did you print these on a multi filament printer or separate by each color? I can barely see any lines on the tire so you must be using a good printer.

I designed most of these so that if you have a multi-filament printer, you just select a body and set the color for it.
Some, like the GT Lace, can be assembled after the fact. Print the center in your desired color, and the base/rim get a color swap at a specific layer. This way someone without multi-filament capabilities can still print two+ tone.
Some, like the Indy white with red stripe require AMS. Assembling after the fact just looks bad. I tried it with several prototypes.

With the exception of the Bambu printers, everything I have is custom built and/or heavily modified from what it started as.

My printers:
Voron 2.4r2 (all metal joints/brackets/mounts) w/ERCF
Widowmaker build (Ender 6) that I use for PEEK and PEKK printing after some very hefty customization
Video of it in action here:

Voron Switchwire (x3) 2 w/ERCF
Bambu X1C w/AMS
Bambu P1S w/AMS

I'm running the tire holders on the Bambu printers since I have those automated to eject when done and then start the next print. I can turn out ~18 tires per day on those two printers alone.

Hi Synthesis, are you selling these? I tried reading through a few times, but I've been drinking, haha... but I would love to order a set of Hi-Tech wheels if you're selling them! They look fantastic!

I am. I started shipping some this past weekend. Turns out, shipping is pretty much 10 bucks USPS, even flat rate.

My intent in GFC wasn't to sell, I just wanted to show them off. I can move this to The Mall if things take off.
