Our new home is only 7 miles down the road, but it's a major upgrade! With beautiful office spaces and a squeaky-clean warehouse, we can't wait to move in. To ensure a smooth transition, we will be closed on Friday, October 17th and will reopen on Monday, October 20th. Our phone numbers will remain the same, but please note our new address:
The Fiero Store 11 Sea Pave Rd South Windsor, CT 06074
Man, that means I'm going to have to fly up there and get another tour! I'm glad they're going through this... I hope they also pick up another car that they're offering parts for. They make parts for Pontiac Fieros and El Caminos / Monte Carlos / Malibus / Chevells (in case anyone didn't know). This is their other company: https://www.dixierestorationdepot.com/

So, did Leader industries sell the Fiero Store to Dixie Restoration Depot? Or was there just a name change? Not that that should be a bad thing, but it looks like a lot more than a "move".
Edit - After checking the link, I see that Leader Industries owns Dixie Restorations AND The Fiero Store.
Casts it in a slightly different light. Sorta. Still wish they were able to provide an outlet for Rodney's business. I'm trying to rationalize how this may give Rodney more incentive to sell. In reality, probably not a bit of difference.

I believe Rodney connected TFS and he wants out...

It is my understanding that Rodney wants to sell his business, but still wants to "be involved" after the sale. I think that was the main problem with most potential buyers.
Rodney has been trying to sell his business nearly two years now without any luck:
RodneyDickman.com business is for sale:

I have not found anyone to take over my business. So, my plan now is to eventually take my business (mainly just my existing inventory) to Denver. But: I also am not making parts anymore in my shop here. I am also not restocking many items as they run out. You may have noticed some of my parts are out of stock now. That trend will continue. Once in Denver I will continue to sell out my existing stock I have on hand and as I run out of things they become discontinued.
So my advice is buy it now because it may not be available in the future.

It's pretty cool. My daughter and I flew to CT to check out the Fiero Store. In truth, it was a target of opportunity and we were driving up to MA to visit family in the Berkshires and I COULD NOT NOT visit the Fiero Store.
Matt was super cool and let my daughter and I walk around, even basically "go shopping," which he doesn't normally do. But in this video below, he shows about half of the racks are for the Fiero Store, and the other half of the warehouse is for the Chevelle / Malibu / El Camino / Monte Carlo restoration business. The video is a short, so I copied the video ID for the short into the video format for a normal widescreen so it would show on Pennocks.
I'm glad they've found a new place... they say it's bigger than what they had before, and that gives them more room to grow and hopefully at a more affordable price.
