Hello everyone. I've been thinking about painting my 87 Fiero 2m4 for a while now. The paint on it right now is very rough and needs to be redone. How much primer/paint will I need to cover the entire car?

It all depends on how thick you apply the paint and primer. Paint is always thinned, and hardener added. Probably half gallon will do the job.

So 2 quarts primer and 2 quarts base color? Or 1 quart of each?

1/2 gallon of each should do it plus hardener and a bit of thinner, . If you add silver for the ground effects that would add more paint. Follow the mixing directions carefully and thin for the best spray pattern when needed.
