Does anyone have a set, or even just a pair, if the clips that retain the AC and heater tubes to the underbody of a Fiero?

I'm rambling the car after an extended build and seem to have misplaced two of mine. :-(

What year is your Fiero?

The 88's (and maybe the 87's) use a different clip design than the earlier cars.

My car is an '87.
Are the clips compatible or do the older ones not work in the newer bodies?

The clips are not compatible.

Do you have a clip so that you could post a photo?

If it helps... Harbor Freight sells rubber-insulated clips that are stainless-steel, and come in varying interior diameters, that you can use instead of the old clips. They're realistically better than what was stock, and unless you're going for a concourse restore, this is what I'd recommend.

Amazon has them too: https://www.amazon.com/Moun...ation/dp/B08GH3JRKG/

Just make sure you get the right size. It's worth mentioning that the price on Amazon is insane compared to the price at Harbor Freight. You can get an entire kit in a plastic container, sorted by size, for half the price of a 10-pack. But just wanted to send that link because it was taking me too long to find it online at Harbor Freight's website.

P-clamps wouldn't really fit on the '87 cars because the original clips attach to a small "top hat" section part spot welded to the Fiero tub. The mounting surface on that top hat section aligns approximately with the centerlines of the tubes. P-clamps wouldn't line up correctly.

My car's an '87 and the clips are not an obvious mismatch.

Do you have a photo of earlier clips and mounting method?
