I don't believe Pete posted progress pictures of his turbo install on his 4.9L Fiero that was raced by his wife Becky (HerGT) . Her 1/4 mile times were in the 12's and that was excellent for the day. If you look in the archives here you will most likely find pictures of the install. Pete hasn't been active on this forum for quite some time so I will guess that he may have sold the Fiero and moved on to other cars. IIRC, Pete was a GM dealer mechanic

Oops, sorry that I missed that but in looking at that post today done by Petes wife, that install is an extremely tight "shoe horn" fit, great work though. I wonder how the ECM control was done?. You could reprogram the EPROM fuel tables but you would need to run a 2 BAR Map sensor and have an editor that allows re-scaling the timing tables by a factor of two to work with it. An aftermarket ECM could be used but the car ran an automatic so a separate controller would be needed for that.
IMO, the turbo fit and the tuning would be difficult and the question must be asked is the work on this old V8 worth the reward?
